History

Astri was born within the isolated city of Ishgard, well, isolated until recently. She grew up in the Burme like most who were not of pure Elezen blood nor of any high house. However, that never stopped the girl from dreaming big. Both her parents worked tirelessly day in and day out to provide for their daughter. By the time she was thirteen, she was working in the Skysteel Manufacturing Warehouse, helping her parents wherever she could to make ends meet. That was when her work somehow got into the hands of an Old Sharlayan professor.Impressed with her work and abilities, the professor sought her out and offered her a chance of a lifetime. However, with the tension between Ishgard and Old Sharlayan, Astri would have to hide the fact she is Ishgardian. With her parents unable to provide Astri with proper schooling, she took the offer.And so Astri set out on her solo adventures to another isolated city where she not only excelled, but prospered. She is now one of the top engineers in Old Sharlayan and chief mechanic in the manufacturing and maintenance of multiple weapons.Over time Astri returned to her roots. She came back to the one place she never thought she would go back to except for short visits with her parents. She found a teacher in the arts of Red Magic, something she wanted to do ever since a Red Mage rescued her and several refugees during the Final Days in Thavnair.Over time she not only picked up the skills with ease, she excelled! She also had earned one of the highest honors in Old Sharlayan. For her brilliance in engineering, hard work on multiple large projects (including working on the Ragnarok), and dedication, she was given the title of Archon.Now the world was her oyster, but the Archon found herself back in Old Sharlayan...
